Roof bars for Kia Sportage

I'm getting roof bars for my 142 Kia Sportage in the next few weeks and I'm wondering what type and where to buy. I will also be buying a roof box at some stage but will mostly be carrying a sea kayak. My Kia has roof rails so that should make fitting easier, are the Thule bars worth the extra money or is there other brands that are just as good. Also with regard to noise and fuel consumption, are the oval bars better than the square bars.

    Thanks in advance.

    Dave.

Halfords might be worth a look.
