Sat nav and DVD player x5

So having trouble with both in my x5. I can't get the sat nav to power up checked all fuses and none blew. Plugged in and out the wires did a hard reset by disconnecting the battery and no joy. Also the CD player I can get it to load press play on the radio but can't get it to play CDs. Anyone every experience this or know…
