Oh that's great because I'm just getting into it!
I can't watch Evelyn at all, her nerves make me nervy :D
Everyone else that's left is very likable.
The judges and guests are so constructive and positive which I really enjoy.

Fair play for listening in to the end!

As soon as there's a smell of adverts in the air I'm scrambling for the remote :D

Any word on what restaurants they're being sent to?

Sorry! Have no idea which restaurants.

Can't wait! I'm really enjoying it actually. Would love if it went out two nights a week :)

    Samantha just assembling?

That fish looks revolting - is it raw?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,504 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    Oh that risotto...... yummmmmmmm!!!

Cooking steak to order is the work of the devil in my book.

How do you know how pink it is in the middle without cutting it to have a look

That's a great Dub accent on the chef in the Woollen Mills!

Colm hasn't got any more likeable since last week

Why is Samantha taking and dishing out orders

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,504 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Seriously, what's the deal with Samantha? She gives the impression she's maitre'd (sp???), not chef in charge of one dish.

(how on earth do you spell that )

Anyone else getting dizzy with the speed of this dish compilation?

Very unappetising looking plates of food......

Awww..... I'm genuinely sorry to see Mundy go.

Although he was never going to be a good fit for the "professional kitchen" role!

Me too :( I liked him in it

They all seemed to sail through Day One in the restaurants. Maybe Mundy was a bit of a weak link there, as he seemed to succumb to stress. Day Two's challenge was a real trial for some. Being faced with plucking a bird and cleaning it out, could be traumatizing, if you've never seen or done anything like that before. Poor Samantha really succumbed and looked drained at the end. It's getting serious now and the judges don't seem to appreciate people messing and joking around during the demonstrations.

I enjoyed this episode. There seems to be great comraderie between everybody.

Yeah Mundy's been great but probably the right choice to go now. Don't think he has any aspirations beyond the show. Colm is still the star pupil but doesn't cook with any flair. The chefs have a grudging respect for him. Think it'll be between him, Samantha and Simon in the final. Samantha probably the most likely to work in a kitchen when it's all over.

I was interested to see that they were bbqing outside the ferry terminal in Dun Laoghaire. Presumably the kitchen is in the terminal then? Does anyone know? Think there used to be a restaurant in there.

Jesus, could this BE any more complicated?

I fear for Oisin's sanity in the next half hour!

And all for a veggie meal, which in my book is never really a meal......

Ah that was never going to come together. They were all faffing about!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,504 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

I'm sorry, but this has me in borderline hysterics!

"like something that was drained out of a Honda 50" :D:D

And the two Chefs sound like they're going to cry!

Me either. I wish Niamh would put her hair in a pony or up in a grip. Those plaits are ridiculous

Agreed. Although better than hanging loose, which it was some evenings

She needs to go to sauce-swiping school!
