Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Techno, choons, banging, bleeps, booms, acid, wonky beats and SOUNDSYSTEM bass is taking off Sep 23rd with two DJ's we highly admire :

TREVOR WILKES :Fun In The Murky/Bleep Radio
    NEZ: Computer Controlled Records

Trevor has been a huge influence on our taste in tunes. He's been endlessly diverse hosting an extensive back catalogue of mixes on his Bleep Radio show “Fun In The Murky” since 2004.

The FITM label, still in its early days, started with a bang in 2014. Initial contributions from Paul Birken, TSR, and Scott Robinson have been complimented superbly with releases from previous Skirmish guest Ben Pest, Joe Farr and Johann Platt to name a few.

    NEZ:

Hailing from Belfast, Nez is without a doubt one of Ireland's best DJs. Playing eclectic mixes of techno, acid, and electro along with a whole host of other sounds from the underground, it's all excellently complemented by his superb mixing style.

His acid driven vinyl label, Computer Controlled Records, promises to "encompass the raw analogue sounds of Chicago & Detroit style techno, house and electro." It got off to a flying start a little under 2 years ago with Mark Forshaw’s excellent Explorer EP, and has moved on with purpose, pressing great additions from Chris Moss Acid and TX Connects.

Also on the night Residents Shiv, Benswan, and Brophy will kick things off with a selection of their favourite wonky moovers and groovers - get in early for more bang for your buck :)

Powering the night will be the booming 5lowershop stable audio rig.

    23rd Sept, 11pm
    Amp Venue, Hanover St, Cork
