Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yaya Toure got kneeed in the stomach there. How that was not a penalty is beyond me.

He ran into to him was never a pen. They scored anyway from it.

Need to see the replay again but it looked like he ran into a raised knee.

Could have been the player went to kick it then realised he couldn't and tried to pull out of it but his knee still remained high.

Would have been harsh. Unfortunately they scored from the same play anyway.

My fab stat recently in football weekly was that until today no team had won a game in Manchester since the start of Oct.

Two injury time goals for Llorente to win it for Swansea against Palace 5-4. Nuts

Absolutely stonewall penalty, but was it allowed to play on with City still having the ball in the box maybe...

Mauricio's Invincibles finally vanquished after an astonishing 12 game run spanning August to November 2016; their names will live forever in the annals of Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Some world class abysmal defending for the ages in that Swansea-Crystal Palace goalfest.

For all the bad defending I feel Palace would have gotten something out of that game and other games if it wasn't for one man Wayne Hennessy (back in since Mandanda injured) he's just not reliable between the posts at all.

entertaining yes but that Swansea game yesterday was hilariously bad and void of any sort of quality. Two teams who will narrowly escape relegation, that is about the best both will do. Pardew continues to get away with, how he hasn't been sacked before is beyond me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,480 ✭✭✭Chancer3001

Pardew has actually built a very nice starting 11

Could do with sacrificing his 10 for a 6 though

Man Utd's and Everton's % are alarmingly high for this early in the season.

Not sure that makes much sense. United is nearly 50%, basically a coin flip whether they'll finish 6th or not....does that seem right?

Well that could have gone either way.. Silva would have been thru if his arm didn't drag that out

    Edit: Stones wtf :pac:

Ya I would agree with you. His arm stopped a great chance for city. Doesn't matter if it was intentional or not.

So if a player did stop a goal for example using his hand but it was not intentional. Is that a pen

Disagree with you tbh, its very much a grey area, he prevented a clear opportunity and on a different day with a different ref that would have been a penalty. It would have been a free on any other part of the pitch IMO.

Two English players on the pitch? Sad statement on the premier league.

Depends on where the hand is. He was sliding on the ground and didn't know where the ball was.

Dave, you cannot take nialls side against me here. Very disappointing. :)

That was a bit naughty by Aguero. Oops I stumbled and clipped your heel. Loads of top strikers do that, him, Costa, Van persie always did.

He stepped across him and obstructed his run. Certainly didn't look as bad in the replay but still a foul imo.

It looked like the ref was running up to give Aguero a yellow for diving but then played advantage as chelsea broke quickly
