Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That might liven Leicester up for the second half. Some result for Hull and Mike Phelan if they can hold on to this

Yep; they seemed to get a disproportionate amount of them last season.

    Entertaining game so far.

When you have a direct running game like Leicester last year it's not that much of a shock.

Exactly, when Liverpool won 13 (I think) in the 2013/14 Suarez/Sturridge season people were moaning like morons apparently unaware of the most likely circumstances to win a peno.

Meant to post this here earlier. Posted it elsewhere, this is what I guessed the table would look like at the end. Can't be bothered to fill out the template others filled in. Should move Hull up a spot perhaps :)

    3 Chelsea
    4 Arsenal
    5 Liverpool
    6 Spurs
    7 Stoke
    8 Leicester
    9 Everton
    10 Southampton
    11 Swansea
    12 West Ham
    13 Bournemouth
    14 C Palace
    15 Middlesboro
    16 West Brom
    17 Watford

I don't think it will happen but I wonder has it ever happened in a major league that a team got relegated after winning the league?

A promoted team winning the league in the season after promotion has happened a couple of times (Nottingham Forest and Kaiserslautern).

Man City in the thirties are the only top-flight English example I believe.

Surprised to see Givrn out there, though Butland was back already and didn't Hughes go for someone else over Given past year after Butland's injury?

Watching the Everton Spurs game. Poor goal to concede, it wasn't even a very fast ball in, just Spurs not having a clue.

Butland still injured I read earlier.

Negredo with his first for Boro.

Boro made some very clever signings I have to say.

Gueye looking very good for Everton so far. I don't remember seeing much of him last year, it couldn't have been hard to impress in that Villa side.

Watching Soccer Saturday through facebook is better than on the telly, as you get the ad breaks but don't get the ads.

Like the look of it. Handy the way they keep the PL scores on the bottom right of the screen.

Roger East is an awful referee, I genuinely don't think he understands football.

    Well worked goal for Spurs.

Delofeu will be kicking himself. He's done well but his end product has been woeful. A bit better and Everton would be well ahead.

56 minutes into the game the SKy commentator says "Delle Alli, the no 20, just wants to be known as Delle", after calling him Delle Alli all game, just then and everytime afterwards.

Good point for spurs, new striker looks decent.

    Pardew out!

Guardiola has City set up very strange at the back.
