Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The new manager Puel doesn't seem to be getting the same out of the team as their last few managers. Can't see him lasting too long.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Don't have BT, but apparently Savage has just been schooled by Humphries. He was having a pop at Costa, when Humhries reminded him that he pulled a similar stroke when he demanded a move from Brum to Blackburn.

Alonso has missed a few of those on his right leg this year, he usually trashes at them, cool finish.

Savage said he was a disgrace himself then.

Fair enough. But he was stupid to leave himself wide open like that. You don't slag off someone for doing something, when you've done something not too dissimilar yourself. He strikes me as not being particularly bright though.

Dyche is the one manager that has been able to deal with him. Wasn't an ounce of trouble out of him all last season. 25 pts from 12 home games now for Burnley.

I guess its about time to admit to myself that harry kane isnt currently in the 3rd year of his purple patch and is, in fact, a very good player.

Surely Hazard looking casual before the free kick comes to him is part of the routine of that set piece and not as Glenn Hoddle thinks that he was genuinely surprised by it.

That's true he looks and sounds like a bouncer. I think he is just an old school no nonsense type fella.

I wonder will Batshuayi be given a chance or will they look to buy a replacement for Costa is he decides he's not going to play.

    I wonder will Batshuayi...

Doubt it, appears for the under 23s quite a bit he's not really doing it doubt he could be trusted to start tbh, despite scoring in the cup it's well known his overall performance did little to convince the powers that be.

Wont be an issue Costa will start next week.

Batshuayi cant even get a game when Costa is out other then cup games.

    Nah.

The hope is from opposition fans that Chelsea will sell their star player on the back of gossip and conjecture..:pac:

Some right joke shop defending in the premier league today.
Little orphan boy Sanchez playing it up for the cameras after the match for a fat new contract like Costa is woth a conveniently timed back injury. I'm sure Payet can recommend him treatment.

Jaysus, some goal from Carroll in fairness.

Christ; Hull seem to give away an awful lot of crazy penalties. Don't they coach tackling at that club?

Niall Quinn on City playing out from the back: "they reached the halfway line, it's pretty but...."

There's Niall, a paid commentator, showing no understanding of why a big team might try to play from the back.

I'd have said penalty. Very similar setup here from City as they did away to West Ham.

Spotted Bobby Zamora in Philomena's in Holborn yesterday while I was watching the Munster match/ Chelsea match.

Seems like the right amount of famousness. He can hang around the place without getting mobbed.
He was just having a pint with a his friend.
