Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There are a few definitions for the term "Score ".

What it means to you and Englands great hope may be two different things.

I'm an Arsenal fan, Spurs are having a good season, but I'm far from jealous anyway. It will all count for nothing unless you win the title, that would be the only reason I'd be jealous of Spurs if that happens. Massive game now for Chelsea away to Man Utd, a bit of pressure on Chelsea now.

    Leicester
The references to CL football where Spurs played three away matches and three on a neutral pitch are gas. I bet during the the Utd Chelsea game, whatever way it goes, there will be no similar references.

Oh yeah, that might just be because neither of them qualified for CL football. 🀔🀔

I don't think there's any hate or jealousy of Spurs. They're a very good settled team that play entertaining football and score loads of goals. They're inexperienced in Europe and it's cost them but that experience only comes with playing games. They'll be there again next year and wembley will feel more like home so I'd expect an improvement.

Almost forgot that was Harry Kane 20pl goal for his 3rd season in a row.
not bad for a 1 season cripple !

Only shearer, Henry and Ruud van nisitroly are ahead of him on the stats.

We will miss white hart lane next year we equalled our own record for consecutive lge home wins.

    Overall a perfect day

I'm hoping Palace get a winner here and then get Benteke, Zaha and Townsend sent off after that.

I've said this before! Spurs fans seem to have this psyche that every other fan hates them! Particularly on this forum! The constant need to reassure others how good their team is and the fact they go into defence mode when other fans make a joke about them being bottlers and a feeder club is why other fans will continue to slag them!

But I don't know many fans that don't realise what an excellent project has been in progress the last 2/3 seasons at WHL

City have started this game really brightly. Hopefully Southampton can keep them out though and get a foothold in the game.

Our regular failing; we're not clinical enough. Kun might have had a couple of goals by now.

A man of his quality should really have scored at least one anyhow.

Agreed. Just waiting for Saints' first decent chance (or half chance, even) to go in.

We're so frustrating to watch. I don't think there's any question over the calibre of player that we have, but we are so pedestrian with the ball. The difference between us and Spurs earlier on today is startling.

  • Chelsea
    Great call by the ref

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

Yet another clear penalty for us not given. I'm not even surprised by it any more.

Glenn Hoddle, Steve McManaman, and the in studio ref all calling that penalty decision wrong even though I think its clear Forster gets his fingers on it.

They are awful to listen to.

Forster got the ball, I think. Either way, there's been so many replays and so little in it that I don't know how you can possibly call that "clear".

Looked a peno when I first seen it. And has looked one in the replays too.

Nope foster got the ball, replays clearly showed it

If you're talking about Forster on Sane incident I think you'll see Forster gets the ball. Absolutely no penalty.

Wenger out placard on the RTE news just now!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,480 ✭✭✭rwbug

Doesn't even matter if he got a tiny touch, he still took out Sane as he was rounding him to put it in the net.

Watching via some ropey stop-start stream with what laughingly passes for broadband down here (don't have BT) and viewing the poor picture, it looked clear to me. If it turns out no to be, so be it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,843 ✭✭✭GSPfan

With all the attention on Forster touching the ball we all failed to notice he doesn't seem to touch Sane at all.

He actually didn't touch Sane. And it does matter if he got a touch.

Oh my god BT are full of idiots. Forster never touches Sane. Ha ha ha. Ian Wright and Gerrard making things worse.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

What the **** is wrong with BT. Forster gets his fingers on that! Excellent refereeing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,843 ✭✭✭GSPfan

Of all the studio refs knocking around, Graham Poll must be the worst. He can't even get the decision right from a studio with instant replay.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,843 ✭✭✭GSPfan

Whats the chances Kompany injured himself in that celebration. :)
