Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

City haven't won a game in premier league when losing at half time since 1995.

Not that it makes a difference today and will just be a mere coincidence again, given they have gone from Paul Walsh and Keith Curle to Sergio Aguero and YaYa Toure in the intervening period, but that is an astonishing record alright.

Just looking at that, there comeback that day could (and probably should) have helped United to win the title from Blackburn that season, if United hadn't f"cked up on the last day!

    Tottenham
Costa left his boot up there for me. Went to hurt the keeper.

Away game. We beat Arsenal at our place earlier this season.

Hardly. Unless you had set extremely high standards regarding him.

    He only just turned 23.

Well that 22 year old record is going to end today then. No way Boro hold on to get a point.

As much a dive as the Rashford one. Refs buying what is being sold today by the Manchester clubs unfortunately.

I was at the Everton Burnley game the other week he was very poor. Recorded motd and watched the next day they were bigging him up saying it was an outstanding performance. He certainly gets more hype than is justified.

It's like a goal Liverpool concede on a regular basis.

Title race looks done now. Wouldn't be surpised if Spurs lost today, must be a bit of a psychological blow seeing Chelsea win just before their match.

That's Chelsea as champions then. Shame it won't go closer to the wire, but they've been great.

In fairness the word overrated and "overhyped" has been following him around for the last 5/6 months as well as other times in the last 2 years, whenever he has a few average games. These days people are concentrating on the negatives in his game more than the positives.

Conte is probably the most likeable manager in world football. Absolutely brilliant at his job and his passion is unmatched, straight over celebrating with the Chelsea supporters at the end there. He's the Buffon on management, it's hard to find anything not to like about him when you look at things from a neutral's perspective. He and Chelsea fully deserve their title this season, and it's inches away now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Yeah, it's amazing how much I suddenly dislike Chelsea less now that Mourinho and Terry are gone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,578 ✭✭✭✭Turtwig

You gotta hand it to Chelsea. All season even when they've struggled through games they've found at least one player to step up and produce the goal. Costa, Hazard, William, Pedro at vitals points in their campaigns have just produced that extra bit of class that turns a game. Stuff of champions.

Well I'd rather spurs won, surprised Poch changed the system, probaly has to do with first choice fullbacks not being available.
