    Hi

    I'm interested in doing the 18 month J-1 that's provided to industry professionals, you dont have to be a student or recent grad to apply apparently but you do need a host company.

    Anyone any experience with this? - i only know about the summer/grad J1 but never heard of this one.

    I wonder if i could just apply for jobs and explain that while i have the VISA sorted out, i would need them to agree to be a host company..

    hmm.. just thinking out loud
