Ulster Bank debit card rejected by BOI terminal in Dunnes Stores

    As per title, after inserting the card almost immediately it was returned to me with message
    saying some thing like "we are returning your card to you as it may be faulty"

    The card works fine with AIB PTSB atm's and of course UB

    Is this just a glitch or is there a reason for returning my card.

    We're unsure of why your card was not accepted on this occasion as Visa Debit cards should be accepted at all Bank of Ireland ATM machines. If you would like to let us know where this ATM is located, we'll be happy to report this to our ATM Team.
