Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The same as if it weren't lost, largely. You just have to have the relevant part of the D201 app form stamped and signed by a Guard to declare it lost. You will also have to provide some other form of photo ID to the NDLS as your lost permit would have been your photo ID.

If the address on your most recent permit is not your current address, you'll need proof of the new address.

Bear in mind that your name on your new permit will match the photo ID given exactly so you may lose or gain a middle name or you may end up with a different spelling if there was a difference between your permit and other documentation. Maybe you've gotten married and will need to provide proof of a change of name.

You may have to have a driving test booked or proof that you failed a test. This will be the case if you are moving onto your third or subsequent permit.

If you have not attended the NDLS before (ie if the last place you got a permit was from the Motor Tax Office) you will need to bring proof of PPSN.

You will need a fully filled out D201 application form.

If you answer yes to a fitness question (with the exception of the eyesight/ glasses question) you will need an NDLS medical report.

If you had the 01 notation on your previous permit denoting that you require glasses and you no longer do (eg laser surgery) you will need and NDLS eyesight report declaring you no longer need them.

There may be other possibilities but if you have any specific concern, feel free to state it here and I may be able to help or you can call the NDLS too.
