Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trump does not agree with US corporation tax and wants to reduce it from 35% to 15%.
Makes perfect sense, and will allow US companies to bring the $2 trillion they keep offshore back home to the US.

Well they will need it, cause this will tank the Dollar and their stock markets....

The odds are starting to shorten for Trump to win.

It seems the highest rating thing people want is change, which polls show Trump wins on.
Obama promised change and the only change was skin colour.

Yeah, I stuck a tenner on him to win earlier at 5.5 on Bet365 and cashed out there a few minutes ago for 50 quid :D

Honestly still wouldn't be surprised if Clinton clinches it but am surprised at Trump winning Florida, will see how it pans out shortly I suppose.

Stock markets have been in a bubble pumped by central bankers with record low interest rates along with quantitative easing.

Right, I'm off to bed - I have three hours before I have to get up for work.

I have no interest in hearing Trump's speeches either.

    Night all!

I wonder if the Dems are regretting screwing Bernie yet?

    Less gun control,
Never got there facinastion with guns. But many have tried and failed. Hillary would be no different
less women's autonomy over their own bodies,
It's called ABORTION, I'm not against ABORTION where a woman life is at risk, or the baby will die upon birth or is not a viable birth.
But it's called ABORTION, not female autonomy. Calling it women's autonomy removes the father from the equation.
In fact it could be argued that it's manslaughter, similar to the tretment of a person who murders a pregnant woman.
    more racial tension,
Because Obama did a good job with BLM... Obama caused a bigger divide than Bush.
climate change becomes a non issue./QUOTE]
Good!!! That fad has passed, like the hole in the ozone layer or oil running out in the 80s. All Climate predictions have failed to come to fruition. Polar ice is on the increase and climate is stable.
Ireland should be worried about US companies here - The Donald doesn't agree with our corporation tax laws.
Yup, if he follows through on his plan, they will all migrate back to the states. But we can profiteer on BRexit surely :D

Bernie would probably have done a lot worse than Hillary if the electorate are anything to go by.

He would have tapped into the anti-establishment feeling. I'm sure he would have beaten Trump. Real pity he wasn't the nominee.

These are the very latest up to date results for Pennsylvania from their state website. Trump winning there now (most media still have Clinton winning). Pretty amazing because that was the one swing state the pollsters were sure Hilary would win.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,756 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Paddy Power have Trump at 1/50 to win, Hillary at 10/1.

I expect Clinton to win Michigan, Detroit will break very heavily for her. Wisconsin confuses me, Clinton was well ahead even in the exit poll and she's actually running ahead of the democratic senate candidate (who was also considered a certainty) but I struggle to see any encouragement in the map and the areas yet to come in. Wisconsin is the big one I think.

I must say, this is a damning indictment against the IQ of the US. The fact that this is close is sickening.

Why don't polls show swings from last time out? Basic stuff in Irish and UK elections.

    TRUMP WON WISCONSIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My prediction if Trump wins and to all these people who want change and drain the swamp.... F**k all will happen when the Donald gets into office

There will be no wall built
He wont expel millions of illegal immigrants
He wont scrap any Trade agreements
He wont get rid of the EPA
He wont put term limits on politicians
He wont be able to Jail Hillary :p

You dont just rock up to Washington and change a system thats been in place for over 200 hundred years. You cant turn the Titanic around on a penny and Washington is A LOT BIGGER than the titanic.

He will fumble from travesty to travesty and also he will be impeached when they find out he is a tax cheat and he is convicted of fraud in December for his unversity

One thing that just popped into my mind, and I'm not being facetious in saying this - if Trump wins (and it's looking by far the more probable by now), get ready for a lot more terrorist attacks.

Looks like this madman has done it.

When you look at the money that backed Clinton, this is one of the biggest upsets in political history
