I worked in a centre and got to know many of the seekers of asylum.

From what I was told, many did not choose Ireland but paid a lot of money and ended up here, often climbing out the back of a container not knowing where they were.

This was as true for Moldovan as Ugandan as Afghan.

Won't take it off the Liveline topic, but I'm a tad sceptical. ;)

I'd be quite happy to donate a few bob to the Boardsie's fund for that to happen.

I wonder if Joe or DyeAnna are listening to this story from Lesbos* now? Might give them some perspective so to speak?

*And no, it's not that kind of story.

There are many lesbos stories in my head so to speak, but the one on the 1 o'clock news was about refugees so to speak - and not two buxom blondes doing "bold things" to each other so to speak.

Nope, just on the 1 o'clock news so to speak.

Dare duz be 2 buses so to speak for de skool and dat.

Wan bus is €350 a year for de chislers ta go to skool but dat bus has only 18 seats.

Dee udder bus is €700 a year for de chislers and dee udder chislers go to skool on dat. I don't know how many seats are on dat bus so to speak.

Day ran a lottery ta see who got seats on each bus so to speak.

    It's a disgrace Joe.
