My prediction is: there won't be a single mention of anything related to Hickey/Delaney tomorrow. Instead we will hear about Mary from Ballyshannon who lost some jewellery in 1957, and is wondering has anyone found it yet.

Mary: I've lost my pearl necklace Joe.
Joe: Wat colour was it? And who gave you the pearl necklace Mary?
Mary: it was creamy white Joe. My husband gave it me.
Joe: would he often give you a pearl necklace Mary?
Mary: just once Joe for our anniversary. We did anal the other times.
    Joe: back after deeze

Lost and Found is Ray Darcy's forté. Every second ad break for the laast few days has a clip of him finding someone's wedding ring in Croke Park.

I think these hapless feckers deserve a silver at least for sheer entertainment value.

Unfortunately Delaney isn't in Rio. He did have a room booked over there but never went over.

Not a chance Delaney will come on. He too is likely being meeja prepped and trained by terry Prone as we speak so to speak. Probably have "celebrity" solicitor and occasional Lahv Lahn soccer correspondent Gerald Kean on to discuss it.

Gerald is claiming to be broke so a free 30 minute ad on da radio is tempting.

Wonder will he touch the story bout Yer wan who is homeless and had the sindo run an exposé on yesterday?

Batman Ben passed away at the weekend, he wouldn't be so callous as to try get his family on

    A 2nd passport no less...
It has also emerged that Mr Hickey, who is being held at Bangu prison in Rio, is understood to have a second passport and this is now with his lawyers.

If its a second Irish passport then there is something wrong or dodge.
Due to his age he might have a uk passport also.

Terry Prone currently on the blower to various radio presenters and journalists to see who will give him a 'soft focus' interview. Essentially pull our heart strings a bit, focus on the good things he's done such as buying rounds of drink etc. No hard questions.

Maybe a photo shoot with the girlfriend for the Sunday supplement.

What Terry Prone will do is return the favour at a later date to whoever goes easy on him, she'll have a bit of dirt on someone and let them sink to return the favour.

I'll scratch yours and you scratch mine, we keep the general public in the dark by feeding them bull and we'll cash in in the meantime.

That's how the system works people.

Yizzer deluded if you think Joe will touch the Hickey/Delaney stuff.

I noticed that the news reports on Morning Ireland mentioned that the Brazilian authorities were seeking the passports of Delaney and co. However the script being read by the newsreader went on to say, and I quote,:

"There is nothing to suggest any impropriety on the part of these individuals"

Presumably a letter from Mr Delaney's legal time dropped on the Montrose mat yesterday.
