He told Ariel he is going to break his legs in the first round and break his face in the second.

I think you could say the same about Avila if he can't beat Lobov. I haven't really seen an awful lot of Avila but these two guys aren't even UFC prelim level in my opinion. Only there because of their mates.

Starting with a wee Irish coffee here.

Got to pace this **** correctly. My mates are all rote off and won't remember any of the main card.
Yeah 8 beers here i was thinking start now and 2 beers per hour should be a nice pace.
ive gone too far and i know it :/ milled through first 3 pints, have 3 SMALL cans and one pint left, what a silly cnut.

"I’ve said it before and I mean it — I’m not saying it because I think it sounds cool — I was born in Russia as a person but Ireland was where I was born as a fighter. Whether people want me to or not, I’ll represent Ireland on the big stage and I’ll work as hard as I can to make sure I do that with success. I’ll never forget how important Ireland has been for me."

    Come on Artem!

An Aldo-esque KO would be glorious from Artem.

The difference being Chris is a kid and Artem is nearing the end of his career.

Chris loses he goes and fights on Legacy or Titan or another regional promotion and get a few wins and he'll get another shot at the UFC/Bellator/WSOF.

If Artem loses its finishing his career with Cage Warriors or BAMMA.

He has a decent coaching gig I'm SBG so he'll be grand either way.

Decent leg kicks from Artem. Hopefully this has been a part of the SBG camp and Conor uses them tonight.

Perfect round from Lobov. Avila can not find the range at all.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,052 ✭✭✭poldebruin

First time I've seen Lobov, looks confident, I like the way he is sticking with the leg kicks, frequently see fighters give up on them when they are clearly being effective. No sign of Avila checking any of them either.

Great round from Artem, he looks to be at maximum flowiness.

    10-9 Artem.

Chris's leg getting chewed up and he doesn't look confident at all.
