First official UFC victory. Couldn't have asked for an easier one.

Wasn't a great fight at all, Avila doesn't look cut out at all for this level considering Artem isn't great himself.

Dominant win but disappointing he didn't stop him. Surely after round one Artem should have just battered his leg until he gives in.

Think ye are right, leg kicks are the top tool of the camp this time.

He's Russian, so they'd probably have given it to him anyway.

A win in the UFC used to mean something dammit!! An 11-10 veteran beating up on a kid with a 5-2 record is garbage.

What did the judges score? 30-27?

Disappointed he didn't finish him. Definitely there for the taking. Loved the slap off the kicks. "blah blah Joe Rogan legit soccer soccer"

There was no other result to it. Them leg kicks. The noise off them slaps. He's good. Needs work but he's solid.

Artem will do very little in the UFC. Let's be honest, he's a very limited fighter. He played his smartest fight to date for sure but he'll get fed jobbers to fill a fight card every so often.

Nate Diaz in an exact quote said:

"We got some straight up killers training here. My boy Chris Avila would beat your (Conor) ass"

    Eh. Ok Nate.

If nothing else he's gonna be feeling foolish.

To be fair Neil Seery is in same mould, but arguably more talented.

People forget Artem is only 29. He looks mid 30's but he's only a year older than Conor.

    He can still improve.

I pray Conor ko Nate. It's only way I wanna see it end. Bottom line is he needs to stop chasing the higher weight and defend his title.

I expect a few more of these for sure..

    hope youre right pete!

the artem fight was bland lets be honest people, obviously artem was dominant but he's nowhere near the elite and at 29 years of age i doubt he ever will be.
