Did Homasi take this on short notice, he's been gassed since midway through the first. Amazed he's still standing though. Could see a ref stoppage

What a performance, completely in control, correct to be stopped.

    Could have been Queally.

One sided beatdown. Fair play for Homasi for taking the fight but he is nowhere near main card calibre by any stretch.

Really doesn't do a whole lot for either fighter to be fair.

Means looked great, but another complete mismatch.

If their was not one more punch thrown in the whole fight after a minute into the 2nd round Id say Means would have won by tko just by your man falling over from exhaustion

He would have got the same beating.

I actually feel a bit bad for the guy, it really was a beating for the ages, some of these guys need to be protected from themselves.

As a white belt, I take great offense to that statement :D

Sorry, the "white belt brigade" was refer to guys calling McGregor a white belt after the last one. Pure droolers, no-belt themselves.
An actualy white belt puts you miles ahead of those lads in terms of grasping the jiu jitus aspect

If anyone fancies free money and you don't have an online account with Paddy Power or Net Bet then here you go.

    http://www.enhancedbets.co.uk/

Stick a tenner on McGregor at one and a tenner on Diaz at the other.

Tim needed the money, it keeps his bills paid and kids fed after a horrible year where he lost out on 200k and had to take a job paying $9 per hour to keep in his feet.

Yupp and on that note, everyone look up your local BJJ class and give it a go. Has changed the whole way I watch the ground game in mma.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm delighted he gets paid and I'm sure he doesn't give a crap that the fight means very little. A likable guy.

He said being in prison seemed to knock some sense into him. And having kids depending on him etc.

Just checked the Disclosed Pay for the event -

    Tim Means $31,000 Show/$31,000 Win.

    So $62,000.
