New homeowner Old Alarm

    Hey everyone,

    I just bought my first home (yay!) and we're currently doing some remodelling but I have the small issue of the old alarm system.

    The system looks like it's a good few years old but seems operational the only snag is the code! no one seems to know it (estate agents or previous owner).

    The system is a Merlin alarm system, looks to be 20 years old. Has a small red digital readout, keypad and list of functions - I can't post links or imagery as I am a new user.

    Would any of you legends of people out there know how to reset / update the current code / test the system? Any advice welcome!
