    Hi Guys

    I was in contact with online sales regarding a Mobile Only Plan.

    They tried to offer me a broadband account however it is not available in my area.
    The agent informed me that it was available in my area but not my address.
    I was delighted thinking I would have proper broadband soon.

    When I queried further I found out that the agent was using my County Address as my area!

    Is this normal Eir practice?

    I can end transcript  if required

    We're so sorry to hear this and no, this is not common practice. 
    All prequals should be submitted via the address or line details.
