Parking lights on a 2007 Opel Corsa

Bought an Opel Corsa just today and I've noticed that my front parking lights don't come on when I turn the nozzle to it. The back ones come on no problem, as do the rest of the lights. Before I call up the dealership and complain, is there a knack to this that I'm perhaps missing?
