Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Job done.

2 games. 6 points. 6 points more than the corresponding fixtures last season.

    Scrap the cap!

That is 6 points gained on last year, United have beaten two teams they lost to at the respective fixtures last season.

Looks like the selling is finally catching up with Saints; they're well drilled as always but they're missing that couple of 8/10 players they always had in the line-up. Man Utd still haven't really been tested in their 2 games...

Are we top of the alternative table though?

Another 3 points. Job done. Some lovely stuff at times.

Really loving Bailly. Pogba was brilliant at times. So calm on the ball and able to drive out when under pressure.

If they're not careful, Southampton B will finish ahead of them.

    Scrap the cap!

He was clearly jeering you and your sterling contribution before kick off.

You wanted to see United "get shyt on".

    They didn't.

You know what personal insults over a game of football is just embarrassing.

Jesus are you really that Salty cos we are back playing good football and have signed world class players?

    That was fcuking epic.

It was like we had gone back 5 years. Attacking football, risk/taking, first-time shots, forward passing.

The one thing that really struck me yesterday was when we were defending a free kick. Fellaini. Zlatan. Pogba. Bailly. Mountains all. Feel a lot safer at set pieces.

Speaking of Fellaini, he was superb. He will get very little plaudits but his display last night was exceptional. Himself and Pogba as a midfield pair makes a ton of sense.

Good performance. Pogba was very impressive, Fellaini a wonderful foil. I'm not sure if a two would work in a tougher game, especially with Pogba playing the field.

Full backs were great. I thought Mata was excellent. Aside from the new players a lot of players are playing a lot better than they had done under LVG which I suppose was the point of hiring Jose.

The team looked unbalanced at the start but it kind of came together bit by bit.

There was certainly an aura about the place.

The one concern I do have is the lack of minutes for Marcus Rashford.
