Canon 5d markiii PRICE DIFFERENCE?

    These are selling on camera.ie for €1899.99 however most of the camera shops are charging €2899 or there abouts.

    Any idea why this is? Or am I missing something?

    Apologies can't find that link now - however on Pixmania it is selling for €2116 which is still a huge difference! Thoughts?

    Pixmania is in financial trouble so I wouldn't buy anything from them.

    in addition to that a quick search over on the consumer forum will show just how bad their customer service could be, even in the good times.

    Given that the official announcement of the mk4 is expected on the 25th I would expect some discounts from reputable sellers around then.
