    I have old house where there is no air vent in living room.
    What would be rough cost to install air vent.

    100-300.

    100 if handy man already has the core bit and the wall is standard. Two hours work max.

    Sorry,
    meant to reply to previous post regarding drilling for 100-300.
    the hole will cost 100-300 but the new heat recovery core vent with moisture sensor it self cost around 600 euros.
    There's a talks under way to make new buildings more energy efficient and forbid usage of holes in the wall. It's just matter of time till new amendment will arrive.
