Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There was a free kick yesterday where Zlatan, Pogba and Fellaini were all standing in a row across our defence. Serious height in the team.

I noticed that as well. Last season there wasn't hope of scoring headers and winning aerial battles but all of a sudden we could be the strongest in the league in this field. The strength Pogba was showing and that power header from Zlatan was majestic

I know its looking a little ahead but i can see citeh worrying alot about the height in our team - from the team playing today stones would be the only notable height in their team.

Stones isn't even that good in the air. Otamendi is a good header of the ball and has a good leap on him..

Edit: Just as I type that they score from a header

Interesting. Probably means Darmian is staying put.

Really hope Rashford soon gets game time. IMO he should start the next day for either Martial or Mata

Sounds like it's going to be the League Cup and/or the Europa League where he gets his chance.

Really want to see Micky Ryan starting too.

It's a deceptively big squad. I think all the injuries last season had us thinking that it was very light but we haven't really added to the numbers when you take out Bastian and the lads on loan.
There's just more what we would consider starters.

They try to press a team that is well drilled defensively and are hitting them on the break,if it doesn't work the first few times is it madness that they keep doing it?

It took all my self-control to not reply to that.

"Rooney, Ibrahimovich, Rashford, Martial, Pogba, Shaw, Valencia, Mkhitaryan, Mata, Herrera."

Some squad to park a bus with.

I'm overjoyed at Liverpool getting dicked by Burnley. Same crap every season with them regardless who's in charge. They're a bunch of game raisers for the big sides and then drop points to rubbish like this. It's fantastic.

Don't forget about Chelsea lads, they came back from 1-0 down to beat Watford with both their goals coming in the last 10 minutes. That's them with max points too.

The Liverpool match was bittersweet, nice result, but absolute dross to watch. All slagging aside, they should be worried. They are a team in urgent need of first team additions in more than one or two positions.

As for us. Having just watched the match this morning, all I can say is 'Pogba'.

Oh, and Rooney's ball in for Zlatan was an absolute fúcking peach.
