Yes. Is he suddenly at 30 going to develop into a left back . He's not a defender nor is he left footed.

At this level it's not acceptable for me to play a makshift LB when we have money to spend

Spend on who? He's better than Moreno, and just because they have money does not mean that you instantly get a quality left back. I'm sure we'll get one before the window is over.

I often think Sturridge's first thought is, "will this look class?", rather than, "Is this effective?".

Great when he's on form, but when he's rusty like today, and getting his fitness and touch back, its not so great.

Everything looks so slow, Lallana so laid back he actually fell over. Sturridge dropping deep makes no sense, I'd put Origin on at HT to run them around a little.
