Firmino can't pass the ball more than 5 feet away from him.

It looks like a bundle of Gerrard vs Chelsea out there with shots coming in from everywhere.

Why is every Liverpool pass so predictable and slow?

Sturridge gives up after a weak ass tackle Moreno Milner so far out of position Ragnar left exposed for pace.

    :D It's classic Liverpool.

Sturridge is not at this at all. Origi has to come on at HT

He's probably sitting on the wrong bench as well.

Goal before half time vital for Liverpool ( will be penalty in injury time -initially missed scoring from the rebound )

Burnley will be very hard to break down now. Everyone back. Just use Gray's pace on the counter attack.

Countinho killing pigeons with his shots today.

I'm not saying much because we have to play Leicester yet today but christ Liverpool have done **** all the whole game and have had all of the ball how in the name of god did we lose to you

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,233 ✭✭✭shamrock55

Back to normality, now will people please not mention top 4 or anything above again because this team is a ****ing joke,no midfield and no ****ing defence

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,277 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

    F*cking useless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Without the pace and power of a Mané, Kloppball is largely ineffective against a packed defence.

Hindsight is great, but Origi starting would've made a difference.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

Really really poor all over......need to sort this ****e out at HT.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

I really don't understand how Sturridge can walk back into the team either.
No wonder his hunger is questioned everything is just presented to him, make him get past Origi on his own merit.

Crikey Ings is being made claw his way back despite showing more in the last 15 months than Sturridge.

    Cos we scored more

can every one fooking stop shooting????

Burnley playing counter attacking football and it's working big time due to our wastefulness

we really struggle to break teams down with the tippy tappy stuff..... when you can't do that in the premiership you need lads to be able to score headers from set pieces and physicality.... Mourinho know's this and has bought these types of players.

I feel bad for Milner,he's not a LB. He's had the ball on the wing so many times, with opportunity to cross and tye left and he cuts back in to danger every time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

    Firmino would drive you mad.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

No width, slow and Burnley defending with numbers means there's 15 players hanging around the box with no room.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,436 ✭✭✭One_Of_Shanks

And people still think we don't need to play with a DCM

    You can walk through us.

I'll go with this too. I don't think Burnley are rubbish but they lost last week, they're at home, and LFC beat Arsenal last week. All the ingredients required for a typical soul-crushing LFC defeat are there.

    As night follows day... :(

    Henderson has been really poor

Mignolet has conceded with the last five shots on target against him.

It's strange he sees so much more than clyne.... But he's glacier slow & inevitably cuts in cos kicking a ball 30 yards with his left is beyond him.

    When is Karius back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,233 ✭✭✭shamrock55

Why is our defence so bad seriously, why the **** can't we build a team from the back instead of from the front,it's gonna be one long season with that back four and keeper

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,418 ✭✭✭✭8-10

    This is all Moreno's fault

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,172 ✭✭✭SuperTortoise

Don't know where to start with that performance. Pure utter ****.

We won't have that back 4 and keeper for long. Karius will be back, Matip, Sakho or both will be starting too.

Moreno and Origi on, adds a bit of pace, have a lot of room on the left, might help if a player can actually use his left foot....

Dreadful, no pace on the left at all, Milner constantly turning back to cross with his right means every Burnley defender (all 8 of them) has their body shaped to whack the ball away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Oh and I think I heard Burnley have conceded four goals at home since Dec/Jan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

Not sure if he could save any of them though

Klavan as bad today as Moreno was last week.
Henderson utterly ineffective in that role.
Firmino has no idea how to play a simple ****ing pass.

Mignolet has conceded with the last five shots on target against him.

Never bails the team out. Not that we deserve it.

Mignolet has conceded with the last five shots on target against him.

Central defence is the issue though not the keeper. Mignolet hardly had a chance with any of them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,895 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Not getting the rub of the green, I see no more than that.
To dominate them like we did and to be 2-0 down is far from a true reflection.
The second was lucky pinball break. Hopefully we get what we deserve in second half as we did not in the first.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,436 ✭✭✭One_Of_Shanks

It's strange he sees so much more than clyne.

Yeah the irony of it. The guy getting most possession and time on the ball is Milner.
If ever there was a game made for Moreno this was it. Ya gotta laugh.

The crazy thing is that people still cannot grasp the fact that if you play without a DCM the opposition can saunter through you.

How can people not see that? If you get the ball and pass through our midfield you'll get goals.

Anyway..... we're in trouble here but not beyond us to get a couple and nab the draw.
The worry for me is that if Burnley counter-attack again they'll score.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

    That second goal

    - weak from Sturridge
    - brutal tackle from Klaven at the half way line
    - Henderson turned easily, he might as well of not been there

This is the thing,he almost never makes a save you wouldn't expect him to. We concede to good shots but once in a while you'd expect him to stop a few of those.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

Klavan should have went through Defour to win that ball back, weak as **** challenge....And Sturridge was real sloppy losing the ball in the first place...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,650 ✭✭✭kingshankly

Two ****e teams playing but was is putting a better shift in
