Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fuming. The shots are terrible but the blind crosses are even worse.

Drop 100 million on an established midfielder, cd, lb - would be a very big step in the right direction!

Teams defending a lead like to keep it narrow. We seem to giving a helping hand by keeping it narrow and when we go wide it's slow to get there.

I hate to say it about Klopp, but it's like he hasn't prepared for this game, having never seen Burnley play before.

Anyone else notice how Clyne has hardly run past a defender today? Always goes inside.

Klopp needs a warm hand to the face for allowing these short corners to continue

When did Roberto Martinez start managing Liverpool?

Absolute piss, but then again, the players aren't good enough - particularly in midfield. Would Lallana or Henderson get a place in the Chelsea, City, United or Arsenal squads? Nevermind a guaranteed start.

I'm watching this on a stream and I feel ripped off.

Could play until midnight here and not score.

You can manually add the Irish sky sports 5.

Well done Burnley.. Liverpool need to be picking up points in these games if they want that coveted 6th spot

No it doesn't. Most stupid nickname ever as the letters are the wrong way round. Just like those who call Mignolet "Ming".

This game is the definition of insanity - trying to do the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

If I see Mee or Keane head another ball out of the penalty area from a crap cross, I'll scream.

Don't worry about it, we won't be competing with them in the league.

Won't be happy unless Klopp absolutely rips into these afterwards.

On this evidence,Arsenal must be favourites for the drop

    There is still time
for Moreno to do a Moreno.

He should rip into himself first and foremost. He's managed this game terribly, no excuses can be made for it. Players were shîte too of course.

They were singing 'you're just a sh1t Gary Neville' to Carragher.

Unlikely when you have 85% possession

Yep it slowly breaks our hearts a tiny bit more every year.

80% possession for Liverpool and 25 shots to 3 and they still never really looked like scoring. That's actually an achievement of some sort.

Burnley were clinical/threatening for about two minutes overall and impressively defensive and disciplined for the rest. Liverpool seriously lacking, hitting and hoping from outside the box, long balls up to the box, basically out of ideas long before the final whistle.

I'd rather lose 2-0 to a team like Burnley, than to play like a team like Burnley .

Moral Victory #1, just 5 minutes after the final whistle.

Thought it was a poor game. Burnley were happy to sit back and don't have the ability to control the ball against teams like Liverpool. Liverpool kept the ball well but didn't really offer anything in the final third. Mane was obviously a big loss bur there was a lot of passes going nowhere today.
