Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

80% possession for Liverpool and 25 shots to 3 and they still never really looked like scoring. That's actually an achievement of some sort.

You know those games on football manager where you have 80% possession and 30 shots and you end up losing, i've had them and i'd often think to myself puck right off!, the game cheated me!

    Deserved victory by Burnley
Had set out with a game plan an executed it flawlessly.
    Great result

Agree, apart from the last line!!!

Ah Burnley were fantastic. Very solid. They won't perform like that every week, it was a big game performance.

We will beat a lot of teams that play this way, not today though. A few teams will pull this tactic off this season and not just against Liverpool. All the top sides will suffer this faith more than once. Today it was Liverpool next week it will be someone else.

Well obviously I thought it was a great result ;)
Burnley I think they will be ok this season. Don't see them being relegated.
Andre Gray will have more goals in him.

I'd rather lose 2-0 to a team like Burnley, than to play like a team like Burnley .

    Silly comment.

    Burnley were brilliant.

Direct, aggressive and two brilliant goals.

I wouldn't be overhyping Burnley based on today. Last week's result against Swansea is more them. I still think they're getting relegated unless they sign some more players this month.

    No we won't.

If we can't draw a team out of their half, we tend to suck. It's a pattern now. The blueprint to beat this team has been there for a while.

    What do people expect?
Pool have bought poorly again this summer and the one good accusition Mane is out.Kloop has a huge job getting Pool anywhere near top 6.

They had no clue how to break down a well organised team today ,it's gonna be a long hard season unless a few players are added.

They had a game plan and nullified 'pools attacks. No point trying to play football when you are clearly inferior, fair play to Burnley

Absolutely agree. Burnley were brilliant today. I've no problem with that type of display.

Thought it was a poor game. Burnley were happy to sit back and don't have the ability to control the ball against teams like Liverpool. Liverpool kept the ball well but didn't really offer anything in the final third. Mane was obviously a big loss bur there was a lot of passes going nowhere today.

You feel for it only reason he enjoyed it is because he is a United fan looking for a reaction

    Beating Arsenal - Boom
    Losing to Burnley - Bust

Liverpool a horror show in defence again this season
