We have recently planted a miscanthus goldbar (June 2016) and it was growing fine up until 2 weeks ago and it has begun to turn brown.. there are new shoots coming up green but the taller ones have withered. . I have Googled but found no obvious reason for this.. should the withered grass be cut out or is it lacking in something? It is watered and fed regularly. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance ☺

Miscanthus requires good drainage and little or no feeding. You may have been too kind to it. Don't feed or watery further and cut away brown leaves.

Thank you very much for your quick reply! I will cut away the leaves and leave nature to do the rest 😂 thanks again
