2016 Macbook Pro Rumour roundup etc

    I just thought I'd create a thread dedicated to the 2016 MacBook Pro, and all it's supposed new features and redesign.

    1. New form factor: Slightly slimmer and lighter, but not tapered like MacBook Air
    new MacBook, many sources have said that will not be the case. It is likely apple wlll use Skylake as they have been probably using this for testing.
    2. Processor: While all indications lead to apple using Intel KabyLake in their Skylake brings mainly battery optimisation and improvements over its predecessor.

    3, Oled strip/bar: Many trusted sites state that Apple will be including a new Oled touch strip that will replace the function keys. It is suggested that this strip will adapt to what application you are using. E.g. when using iTunes, there may be music controls.

    4. Touch ID: A touch ID sensor is expected to be embedded into the power button, allowing you to unlock your laptop and make purchases.

    5. Screen: The screen is expected to remain the same, with maybe minimal enhancements.

    6. Peripheral: Rumours suggest that the new MacBook pro will have just four usb type C ports. However one usb 3.0 could be included. The usb C could also act as a thunderbolt port.

    Release date: All indications suggest Apple will release the MacBook by the end of the year. It is not expected to be announced at the rumoured September 7th iPhone event. It could likely be released in a separate event in October along with new iPads.

    Also just curious do many intend on buying it?
