Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Moving on swiftly... :pac:

Arsenal players passing to Özil every time expecting him to do something, he's on form today!

Mustafi is a good long term like-for-like-ish replacement for Per, so I'm happy with that. Perez is an alternative or compliment to Ground depending how hes played so again I'm happy with that. It just feels like all this could've been done much earlier in the window.

With Giroud on the bench, any chance there's still a chance of a swap deal & they aren't risking him

I don't think either are playing badly, and have no idea who you would have on the pitch in their place.

I would have Wilshere definitely starting over one of them at least

Walcott looks excellent since :pac: Ox has been rubbish though.

Personally, I think Theo is playing well. He's really put in some effort chasing down a few lost causes, and will benefit from having someone like Xhaka in the side.

    GOAL OZIL!!!!!

3 goals up 2 signings hiding in the back not a bad couple of days to lift the gloom

    Ozil makes this team

if anything sums up the difference between Walcott and Ozil in terms of football ability, football brain, football gumption its this goal. Walcott stood still like a plum while Ozil ran about 30 or 40 yards to meet that cross.

Best half of ball from Arsenal since that hiding that first 45 against United last season, unreal stuff.

Man, you're random. Why turn something as beautiful as that into a dig at one of our players?

Holding was fantastic the way he stood tall to one attack down the wing. He is going to be some leader. Perhaps its true, they are much 'arder up North.

In fairness I spotted Theo standing still myself but was too excited at being 3-0 up to care :D

Fair enough but its worth watching again. Ozil is just different class. He sees what few other players see. Pardon me if im not subscribing to the Theo fan club just yet. We've been stung enough by him.

That's ridiculous Walcott was already in there did you want him to run out and back in his position allows Ozil come late

    The beeb don't have a clue :D
    GOAL - Watford 0-3 Arsenal
    Mesut Ozil
You don't need to be six foot when you time your run like that.
    Height 1.83 m (6 ft 0 in)

Holding and Xhaka look like 2 excellent signings.

You make it sound like he deliberately knew what he was doing. he was in there alright but he may as well have been on the moon for all the awareness and dynamism he shows.

Anyway enough Theo bashing, lets all bask in the glory of king mesut :D

I don't wanna hear about the goal. Tell me more about the other players that didn't score the goal, and what they were doing at the time :pac:

 Walcott is an attacking player and was placed in the box at the time so your defence if i could even call it that, is beyond baffling here? Yes Petr Cech didnt score the goal but thats because he was minding the net at the other end like you know... .a goakeeper does .

Walcott was free too but just stood there. if he was worth anything as a striker he should have been giving sanchez a better option of a cross. Thank god for ozil and his genius.
