Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sanchez sooo disappointed to be coming off without scoring. Great to see that kind of desire. Made 2 goals today though!

Stoke are a decent side this season - great win, more so after giving away a stupid peno.

    On and up lads!

An excellent response to that soft peno earlier. Very happy with that!!! Few beers tonight for MOTD again... At this win rate I'll become an alcoholic! :-)

Good relatively comfortable three points. Three great goals, three points. Can sit back easy now and see how our rivals get on for the rest of the weekend.

    Love this team.

The best thing is the way so many guys are actually stepping up. Iwobi was great when he got on the pitch today.

Ox has been really improving, working very hard and showing touches of real class.

    Good times.

Another great win! Some classy goals after a bad start.

Stat fans might be interested to know that only twice in the past 10 years have we reached 34 points after 15 games, the 07-08 Cesc team and the 13-14 Ramsey goal spree. For my money neither of those teams were a patch on this one...

For whatever it's worth the Invincibles were on 35 at this stage. The keen detectives out there will note they had lost one less game :-)

They were playing a B team for that match. They already had the group won.

Thats true but the club have been in a bit of a slump somewhat and i cant imagine Raneiri was happy with the drubbing they got unless he wanted his main men fresh as daisies for today. Perhaps its the extra European commitments are telling on Leicester this season

The 07-08 team were a great team, played incredible football.

Lacked quality at the back and a bit of experience but went to Old Trafford, Anfield, San Siro & Chelsea and put in huge performances even if the results went against them in the end.

Current team hasn't hit those heights yet.

It all fell asunder after Eduardo's injury and i would say Gallas was a divisive character within the dressing room. A very good centre half but the irresponsibility he showed as captain against Birmingham that day done alot of damage to that team. According to Ray Parlour, Gallas and Cesc Fabregas didnt speak to each other when he returned to train with the team. We had crippling injuries that built up too to key players like Van Persie, Eduardo, Rosicky. Flamster was having a good season but got injured at a critical juncture too. Senderos performance at Anfield was shocking in that CL quarter final and then we had Adebayor headbutting Bendtner in the Carling cup.

Yep, spot on. That prick Adebayor not giving a simple pass to Bendtner for a tap in to make it 3-1 vs Birmingham still rankles to this day!

When a squad is divided and infested like that with those type of pr1cks then you get what you deserve really.

From memory also in that game Bendtner had a chance to square a ball for an Adebayor tap in to make it 3-1, but took the chance himself and put it wide. Gael Clichy also had a brain fart in the last minute giving away that penalty.

Was a great team back then, but just look at the names in that team and you can see why it fell apart. Bendtner, Adebayor, Fabregas, Van Persie, Clichy, Gallas, all names that tarnished their reputations with Arsenal fans after they left the club.

Edit. Seems I've the same opinions as Arne and Tipp!

At least Everton & City's form seems to be disintegrating at the right time. Don't **** it up Arsenal!

See what you're saying but i can't fault Fabregas for that season, he was sensational and gave everything.

Sanchez was everywhere. Ozil looked good today.

Koscielny, Bellerin, Theo, Sanchez, Ozil, Iwobi & Coq all with very good games.

Still problems defending crosses & tracking midfield runners when teams break but responded very well to going behind.

Mustafi off with a hamstring and is out til after Christmas.

Ozil in particular, along with Oxlade-Chamberlain. I think Walcott was better than he's been the last few games, if not stand out. Coquelin and Xhaka good again (never a penalty), and Sanchez was Sanchez, maybe a little less forward than usual.

Lol Stones with another clanger for that Vardy hat trick goal. He's been a liability since moving. I'd take Mustafi over him any day......and Mustafi was cheaper too.

I'd take Zinedine Cygan again over John Stones.

Even Squillachi beside Cygan looks a more appealing prospect then that hypejob Stones.

Is there a more consistently violent player than Charlie Adam in the league. No doubt his stamp on alexis will be brushed under the carpet

Was that Des Lynam commentating on MOTD?
All the commentators and most of the pundits seem to be anti-Arsenal imo.
Shower of prats the lot of them.
