Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They need to lose those matches and we have to win, which is something we've failed to do previously.
We rarely make teams pay for their blips

I wasn't saying we would take advantage of the blip but they'all have it so the chance will be there for the chasing pack

Not all teams have blips Soups.
Our Invincibles didn't. Leicester didn't have any serious blip last season either nor did United winning teams either.

Does it look like Walcott is out for a few games?....wondering from a Fantasy Football perspective.

I know that Tayto I was referring to this Chelsea team, they'all hit a road block there in good form but I genuinely don't think they are as strong as the run suggests.

Nah the league is over mate even if Chelsea do have a bad patch. We wont have the stomach to capitalise on this. We are a team of bottle jobs.

I agree with the sentiment anyway, I just don't see them making up the 9 points on this Chelsea team even if there's 20 games left

No Walcott or Gibbs tomorrow. Also a couple of mystery players have the 'flu and may not make it.

Fair point, well made. Thanks. Day after tomorrow.

Days all roll into one another in this Christmas/New Year period. (That's my excuse anyway).

Watching Liverpool's high intensity game making City struggle.

Defies belief how timid we were at the Ethiad. Such a poor performance, still really annoys me when I think about it.

More annoyed at this City game, they're so bad. And we lost to them!

I'm just worried about City. If Pep realises he doesn't have the best squad in the world he might figure out a different way of playing.

Performances like those have become commonplace under Wenger unfortunately. Nothing will change until after he's gone. He has become stale.

    Happy New Year all.

It'd be nice to hit a bit of form today. A lot of teams looking like they'll have a very strong run-in.

I'm hoping there's something in the notion that Wenger has the team physically primed for a good run in and some of the smaller squads around us will drop off a bit.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

    Nanny's removal today so I won't see the match. I'm predicting 3-1

Ozil out (flu victim?) and Coquelin dropped and replaced by Elneny.

Perez Giroud and Alexis up front. Looks like Iwobi is playing no 10.

Ramsey and Ox on the bench.

Yeah, for the last 5 or 6 years. I've seriously lost interest in football and it's directly down to groundhog day syndrome with arsenal. Cannot wait for a new manager.

Chelsea and Liverpool are going through such exciting times. Im even envious of the way Spurs press and play.

I genuinely don't care anymore. I look at the players who are multi multi millionaires not trying on the pitch and I ask myself why should I care? I'm sick of arsene, I'm sick of lack of effort, I'm sick of mediocrity.

When arsene gets carried out then I'll be excited again. Until then, what's the point?
