Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I genuinely don't care anymore. I look at the players who are multi multi millionaires not trying on the pitch and I ask myself why should I care? I'm sick of arsene, I'm sick of lack of effort, I'm sick of mediocrity.

When arsene gets carried out then I'll be excited again. Until then, what's the point?

    Bye bye, then.

This is extrememly important today. We have to HAVE to beat these. No messing.

    COME ON ARSENAL.

They are trying. They're doing what Wenger tells them to.

The fault for the performances are with him.

    Fair enough.

Sorry, I'm just a bit tetchy with all these other snakes never dropping points anymore.

Ozil out (flu victim?) and Coquelin dropped and replaced by Elneny.

Perez Giroud and Alexis up front. Looks like Iwobi is playing no 10.

Ramsey and Ox on the bench.

Just reading about the incident in Turkey. Would be unsurprising if Ozil knew some of those involved.

Do I recall Ozil being sick at the same time last season too?

Today's team should be good enough to see off a poor Palace but it wouldn't instill any fear in the teams above or beside us.

We can't rely on others doing our jobs for us. We blew it ourselves. We were 1 up against Everton and City and blew it.

Sick or not, having him out of the team to get his **** together isn't a bad thing. Been none exsistent the last month

I saw the time i'd be very excited about a New Year';s Day match.
We've gone that stale and predictable I have little or no interest today.
What have you done to me Wenger?

I'm stuck indoors with a flu so I've got little else to be doing. Wouldn't be too pushed either tbh.

Big game for Iwobi. I think the centre might suit him better.

Yeah and I still love christmas just like I still love Arsenal

I have it too. Awful dose.
Good time for the fringe players to show what they're made of.

We look hungry today. Nice movement, good closing down, palace organised so far though. Hope we can get an early goal.

    **** me what a goal

This is the point in our games against city and Everton that we've sat back and not pushed on for the kill

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,161 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

Fúck me. Was actually in the middle of writing a post saying my interest is also waning slightly, but then you see a goal like that and remember why you watch Arsenal.

    Ok that I didn't expect :D

That goal deserves 3 points in itself so please get the job done lads.

Goal of the month for December : Scorpion kick.

Goal of the month for January : Scorpion kick.

We live in interesting times. :P

Perez looks a bit weak in possession.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Perez making intelligent runs, just needs to relax and sort his touch out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,408 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

We need the second goal here.
Plus why is there a reluctance to cross the ball in high after it being successful already?

Game hasn't taken off since the goal. Palace not taking any risks just yet.

    How'd Sanchez miss?

Was sure he was about to make it 2. He hit it too close to the keeper.

Losing his balance I think, not as easy as I first thought

    Still should bury it

    Extraordinary goal.

Solid defensively, a little bit leggie on the attack, Perez has been very poor, wouldn't be surprised to see him pulled 10 minutes in.

Another goal now so we're not sweating would be nice

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

Unbelievable goal by Giroud, my jaw was to the floor when that goal went in. We should be a few more goals up though, been an easy match so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,756 ✭✭✭emergingstar

I like xhaka a lot but sometimes he should just pop that little 10 yard pass instead of the Long ball all the time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

That was probably the best goal I've ever seen...and I'm 49 and not an Arsenal fan.

I get very few prezzies. I do like Giroud's though. We need another of any kind.

Yeah, for the last 5 or 6 years. I've seriously lost interest in football and it's directly down to groundhog day syndrome with arsenal. Cannot wait for a new manager.

Ive grown somewhat of an apathy toward football in general these past few years. I think its from working hard in shítty jobs and getting nowhere whilst watching some of these players who are millionaires and some of them look like they couldn't be arsed half of the time.

Benteke really should have scored. Thats called a warning shot, we need to score another goal soon.

Elneny needs to start more games. He brings such dynamism to our midfield and is a tough bit of stuff

He's always looking for the ball in fairness and is a willing worker.

    Good man Iwobi :D

    well taken by Iwobi

    now we need another...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,483 ✭✭✭brianregan09

I was hoping Iwobi would go off he's been pretty poor today outside of the goal , Elneny has been brilliant again such a good player

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

    Preferred the first goal......
