Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have no time for cowardly footballers and we seem to have more than our fair share of them.

It would be very Arsenal to drop points tonight.

It hurts to be right sometimes!

I would say anyone who thinks otherwise is in a very small deluded minority

I was going to agree with you when you posted it, but I thought 'nah, they couldn't cock this one up'

Ramsey down injured. Watford know we have no midfield and have packed theirs with 5 players.

So we're down 2-0 and Ramsey decides to time waste by going down injured on the field. FFS.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,766 ✭✭✭farna_boy

Ramsey lost it from a throw in on the half way line.

    and then strolled back..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,435 ✭✭✭wandatowell

    Ramsey off injured. Surprised.

Only consolation is that there is still loads of time, if we could get one back before HT it would be a start. We seem to take ages to get going in matches (and sometimes not at all)

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,693 ✭✭✭emmetlego

I know we're short of MFs but I'm glad Ramsey is gone off. He's poison these last few months and beyond. No substance, no balls. Give Ox a shot now, he was decent last game there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,665 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

I can see Arsenal getting back into this and then getting caught on the break...

It's his fault for the deflection, harsh.

Our defending for the second was ridiculously passive, no way should they have strolled in.

We'll get a goal back before half time and Watford will be on ther rack for the second half.

    Ridiculous we're in this situation

Monreal and Gabriel both on yellows early on. I hope neither needs to stop a fast break.

Maybe thesl stadium will be rocking like it did against Burnley

Don't agree with the lineup at all. Bellerin should have started on the right. Walcott should have started ahead of Iwobi. And either Perez or Welbeck on the left with Sanchez up top or the other way around. We need to be playing our players that are on form even against the lower teams.

I can see Gabriel getting sent off - he looks very wound up

Gabriel looks a likely second yellow.

Did we expect anything else, I think a goal before half time and we'll be grand though lads

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,512 ✭✭✭✭MEGA BRO WOLF 5000

Anyone know how many times this has happened this season, give away a couple of easy goals to nobody's? It's just mismanagement of the highest order. How does Wenger prepare teams for these matches???!!!

He doesn't seem to have them prepared for the big matches either!!

I know the buck stops with the manager, but you can hardly think he sent out Ramsey and told him to be half sleeping and switched off? He was directly responsible or had a big part in both goals. The first was a lazy half arsed "don't hurt me" attempt at a block and the 2nd was just criminal dopey sleeping.

I dunno, maybe one or two times? How many is it?

Why is ramsey playing though? Proven time and again he's not good enough. That's the managers fault.

Haven't had an effort on goal worthy of the name yet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,665 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

A third goal for Watford is looking more likely now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,404 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Coquelin has been pure rubbish tonight too. But he's not alone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,435 ✭✭✭wandatowell

Watford got a great hustle to their game tonight. They are winning everything.

    Could easily be 3-0 up.
