Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The arrogance of Chelsea fans towards tomorrow's game is really starting to grate me, in the words of a certain Kevin Keegan, I'd love it if we beat them, love it!

We are more than capable, but who knows what Arsenal will turn up.

What time is the match at? Early kick off I'll miss it, (at Ireland game in EDI)

    12.30.

The perfect time to put me in bad form for the entire weekend.

    I might catch 1st half

Fancy us to win tomorrow but rest assured we'll drop points to far weaker teams than Chelsea over the remaining games. Resigned to another down to the wire top 4 race. It's just so predictable.

An Arsenal win tomorrow, followed by a loss to Hull wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Having said that, I expect Chelsea to be too good for Arsenal.

Just tuned into sky sports news there. Apparently we have lost 6 of the last 7 meetings at Stamford Bridge. Our record against the top teams especially Chelsea and Man Utd the last decade is abysmal.
Just hoping we can go against the status quo tomorrow and make Chelsea sweat for this title.

We beat last year's champions twice on the way to the title, will be repeat the feat this year?

    Positive thinking! I like it

    Ox-Coq midfield

Iwobi and Walcott on the flanks

    Sanchez up top.

Pretty much what I'd go for.

Perez injured or should I be extremely annoyed at Wenger again? ðŸ˜

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

Yeah with the players available that's pretty much the team I'd have started with, except Welbeck for Walcott. Can't argue with that lineup, whether it will be good enough today or not is another question.

He's not down as injured, but I guess it came down to two out of himself, Danny and Giroud?

It should be noted that this is the exact same starting 11 that beat Chelsea 3-0, except for the enforced change of Ox for Caz.

Sky also talking about how Kante is a winning machine, and has only lost 6 matches over the last 2 seasons.....yeah, but 3 of those losses were against who???? I don't think he's ever been in a team that has beaten Arsenal.

    Thought that was a foul

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,516 ✭✭✭jonneymendoza

nice an elbow to the face for the goal...

    Double whammy with Bellerin off.

Annoying thing about that goal was that we made a good break up the middle, gave it away and then they score.

    Same old Arsenal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

2nd look it was a fair goal thought elbow came first then the head, but it was a legit goal

They actually started well but we're too soft and don't like anything physical.

Cech was on the floor at least two seconds too long , He should have been straight up and mashing alonso as he caught it

Did you not see Kos put Costa on his arse, or Coq take out Moses straight after? The goal was purely to do with size difference.

Apparently Hazard has been carrying a knock the last couple of weeks. Nice one, Mustafi.

I also saw all the pressure Walcott put on his man

2v1 that should have been  2:0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,404 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    Jaysus Cech ????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Where's the Walcott everyone was on here praising for his defensive work?

My God. How did we not score there....

Head the feckin ball down Ox FFS. Easy chance spurned.

    He's playing up front.

No surprise we've gaping holes down the right now too.

In the pub for the day so won't get a chance to get sucked into anything on here but overall this first half has been inept in every way.

He's playing off the right that's his job

    It was Gabriel, not Ox

At the moment our initial reaction when we lose the ball is to drop off, rather than put them under pressure and win it back.

Watching on a bad stream. Still should have headed it down.

Thought he pressed well in the first 20, just no one matches his intensisty he looked a bit gassed before half time mind

How is an elbow in the face not a foul? The player had to go off! How is that not dangerous play??

Not one Sky pundit even remotely hints this could be a foul. Pretty weird that they wouldn't even consider it.

An early goal from Chelsea second half should kill this game off.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,336 ✭✭✭Mr.Micro

Where are our big stars Sanchez and Özil when the pressure is on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Kos actually got a foot on it, but it just stayed at Hazard's feet.
