Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

no need at all - great though that he is back to playing a week after that tackle

wow! definitely something happening at Arsenal. I thought he'd been given the dreaded 3 weeks, that turns into 3 months etc etc.

Ramsey was meant to be out the same length of time as Iwobi. He's not due back until mid/late October now, afaik. :D

Coq is tough as nails, get's a hard time in here from a few people but there's not many that share his passion and drive out there on the pitch.

Big fan myself. Bit undisciplined at times and id be nervous of him on a yellow after Spurs last year but no doubting his commitment to the cause. Brilliant attitude to stay and fight for his place at the club when many would have taken the easy option and jumped ship. Amazing to think he was loan at Charlton this time two year ago.

    Haven't really noticed that.
I thought it was more Ox and Walcott.

Just watched that Kostafi video again. Twice.

    Best thing ever.

God, it feels like a long time since I've been looking forward to a regular league game like I am this weekend.

I think if our strikeforce is good enough we might eventually see

    Coq - Xhaka

    in midfield.

    Try getting through that!!!

Still fascinated to see where Ramsey fits into Wenger's master plan. He has always been one of Wenger's favourites, but I'm struggling to see where he fits in the current starting line-up.

    Granit - Coq

Shearer on Football Focus saying the England manager has to be an Englishman.

Not for the reasons you think, Al, but I agree 100%. It should definitely, definitely be an English - or at least non French - man.

Win tomorrow puts us 2nd regardless

We're 2 points up on corresponding fixtures last season. On course for 73 points this season. No chance to improve that this weekend having beaten Burnley away last season

    Guardian predicted lineup:

It was relative to Arsene, I didn't make that clear, apologies

Even so, does it matter? Let them have the spotlight, we never do well when we're favourites for anything

I'm a little worried about them this season. They aren't dropping as many points as they should.

Probably happy enough if they beat City, though.

But anyway, f*ck them, we better show up today. Thinking about going to the pub to watch it, only I hate pubs during the day.

Regardless of what we do this afternoon it looks like we WILL NOT be 2nd- Spurs scored again

Spurs looking good, they are going to be right in the mix again this year. Delighted to see the chosen one stumble again, Stoke have been dogsh1t all season too

Edit: A few got in before me. Am I the only one that needs to see the lineup in the formation before it makes sense? Maybe I'm just a bit special :P

Same team we've played the last few matches (bar Xhaka for Coq) so it's the same presumably :D

Spurs look worryingly good. Best team in the league without the ball, rock solid at the back & a bit more strength in depth this year.

On the plus side a win today would close the gap at the top to 2 points.
