Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What are yis on about?

We've had some decent moves, looking sharp enough.

    Need to start shooting, though.

Amazing we can go from brilliant to dire.

    Inconsistency.

    Not amazing at all.

Teams are consistently poor after away midweek CL games.

Ah the passing has been terrible.

Dominating but not really threatening up front, best chance was the header that Vokes put wide.
As an aside whenever the camera flashes to players on the bench they all seem to be talking with their hand over their mouth, Are they afraid of the cameras picking up on what they are talking about? Its something I have noticed alot in the last while

Burnley very hard to break down in fairness to them.

    0-0 HT
Nothing to get excited about, Burnley proving very hard to break down, would like to see the odd shot from distance and work the keeper abit. Mustafi looks an excellent purchase

Well one of them was Andre Gray who is currently suspended for something he tweeted years ago! So yeah, player a have to be very cautious these days

Fairly flat first half, Burnley well organised. Attacks either ending with an eye of the needle attempted through ball or lacking a presence in the box with it's played in from wide.

Ozil not really at the races so far, hopefully Burnley tire from the effort they're putting in.

Need Ozil to increase his intensity in the 2nd half. One great flick apart to setup Montreal to run down the wing, he has been rubbish.

This is the sort of match where Sanchez up front doesn't really work. He needs space, and isn't getting it. If only Giroud hadn't crocked himself...

Should bring on Ox for Iwobi, pity Perez and Giroud out..

    This is fair awful

Badly need a centre forward on the pitch. Sanchez dropping very deep and nobody is willing to put crosses in when they get wide as there is little point.

Özils final ball has been woeful today

Best part of today will be the Henry/Wenger interview at 6.45pm.

We have nathing on the bench either to introduce

Nothing seems to be going right for us in this game, the movement up front has been way too slow.

I would move to a 4-4-2 and sit back a bit to invite them on and play Sanchez + Walcott as the strikers to hopefully catch them on the counter with a quick ball over the top.

Sanchez is always the one with hunger and actually trying hard.
Others don't bother half the time and that's unforgivable

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Get up Mustafi for **** sake

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,690 ✭✭✭✭Skylinehead

    Seen it earlier it's good.

Wenger sucks you in with his charm but then bring you back down to earth with this performance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,690 ✭✭✭✭Skylinehead

A Frenchman handling the ball for a goal in the last minute? Hmm sounds somewhat familiar.

Just in here for a moment to mention how awful that effort from Ox was, had Kosc's arm not been in the way it would've been over the bar and one of the worst misses all season. He's a lucky man :p
