Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Not a good thing.

It's only 2 - Ox for Walcott and Gibbs for Monreal. Not a huge change, and it's good to have Giroud and Rambo on the bench.

Not liking this Santi injury thing at all.

I think this is the type of game we should go for the jugular early and hopefully have it wrapped up by half time, I don't want to watch a repeat of the Middlesbrough game 😛

I feel it takes from it if it's stretched out. And including all wars the BA fought in is politically insensitive

Pienaar doesn't even get a yellow never mind a red for a Xhaka tackle.

Ref said they were 'crossing over'......he stuck a foot out!

Ozil should be putting that away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,515 ✭✭✭✭MEGA BRO WOLF 5000

If Ozil was a finisher he would be in the top 3 players in the world.

Gonna miss the 2nd half of the match due to work unfortunately, liking what I've seen so far though, that must be about the 10th header Alexis has scored for us, height really is no excuse for him. Quality assist by the ox, hopefully he keeps on improving.

Enjoy the rest of the game lads, hope we get the 3 points.

Not watching the game. But judging by 66% possession and missed chances it reads as though 1-0 is a poor return and leaves us vulnerable to the sucker punch. Hope we can stretch the lead early in the second half

Not a huge amount of clear cut chances for us really, they're just sitting back. The only way I can see them scoring is from a set play at our end of the pitch....they'll have to start trying to get up there, though.

I think we will nail them in the second half when they start tiring.

With our pace then we might pick them off. Fingers crossed. COYG!!!

Yeah, if it remains as tight at the top of the table at the end of the season, then we really need to take every opportunity to put 3 or 4 goals past teams like this.

What a great build up to the goal

    Alexis on fire this season

Ox had plenty more time to do something then. Bit of a waste.

    Jesus Ox, that's shocking!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,515 ✭✭✭✭MEGA BRO WOLF 5000

The OX is stone useless. Same as he was in the last game, pure poison.

His overall effort has improved greatly and he provided a beautiful cross for the goal but that was abysmal indeed

Penalty Sunderland. Mustafi caught out there.

Should have been a peno at the other end for the pull on Sanchez.

Ox just stood on there 18 no attempt to chase back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,515 ✭✭✭✭MEGA BRO WOLF 5000

What an arsenal thing to do. ****ing ox's fault.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

Sunderland made the most of that

Farce. Should have been a pen at the other end.

    Pretty annoying tbh.

How did Sanchez not get a penno first?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Arsenal hard done by there in fairness. Stone wall pen the other end.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

    Love referring consistency

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,694 ✭✭✭emmetlego

Stonewall peno turned down and Sunderland go down and score one of their own. How very Arsenal!

It's a fair enough criticism that he didn't chase back, but there was no way he was gonna win the 50/50 ball by their box, and he would have never got anywhere near their fast break.....not to mention that we had 5 other players back there.

Penalty claim aside, this game should have been put to bed along time ago. Too much boll0cksing about as usual. Watmore is a bundle of energy and i feared if Sunderland were to get anything it would be through him
