Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would be great craic if Dundalk got through their group and came up against Spurs.

There'd be 6 new Dundalk tops bought in this house for sure.

You may try get a bit of shut eye on the plane not that you'll be on it long. if the flight is delayed you could end up cutting it fine by the time you arrive in London. Heathrow/Stansted/Gatwick/other?

Gatwick express is roughly 40 mins to Victoria. not too long to kings cross from there and then another two stops for the Arsenal. Yeah should be plenty of time.

Was going to do something like that myself but decided to take Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off :) fly out 3:30 today and back 1:40 tomorrow.
All we need now is a good result to make it worth it

Aurier denied entry to UK so out of tomorrow nights game....

Delighted with this as he had the freedom of the wing in the first game.

PSG going balistic over it apparently, more motivation for them tonight??

Anybody answer the question I asked last night, how come Spurs have their own full forum and we just have a thread?

It's been answered a million times on here but I never remember why. Something to do with all the early mods being spurs fans or something :pac:

Because one of the admins years ago used to be a Spurs fan. He vreated a forum then put a block on any more. Then there was a Chelsea fan who became an Admin of the site so they got one too. But no one else is allowed one.

In fairness they probably need their own forum, they have much more to complain about after all

Thanks, never saw it mentioned before. Comical really, and very childish putting bans on new ones being created!

Chelsea don't have a forum, just a supporters group.

They did until a couple of months ago. Or is it hidden now?

Can we all get supporters group forums?

It's a supporters group not a forum afaik.

Functionality is gone from the site for ages as far I know. Groups are still there but don't do anything: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/group.php?groupid=138

You created that one didn't you?

I did, but the groups are useless.

The Chelsea supporters have their own forum

    LINK

Gavredking is a mod of it.

Celtic v Barcelona tonight so I assume we're not on normal TV?

Apologies if this was answered already.

Weird, didn't know that, always thought that was a group like the above.

I prefer being in the main forum anyway, think there's more craic or something.

Also, an Arsenal forum would just be thread after thread of Wenger In, Wenger Out, Wenger In, Wenger Out, Wenger Shake It All About.

My main reason for wanting an Arsenal forum, or a supports group, is that I'd love a space where we could organize group trips to games etc.

For everything else, I think this thread is more than functional enough.

Trying to find definitive news but apparently Areola and Rabiot out.

    ...and maybe ADM and Pastore.

Huge chance for Arsenal to top the group.

Thats not true. An Admin did create the forum on the Hosted -> Sports Section but the Chelsea group is nowhere near as active as the Spurs one.

I actually cant remember now, its nearly 4 years old, why it was created, I was asked to help the modding of it though.

I'd have no problem with both being closed if it stopped people moaning about them every year in the Feedback thread but the Spurs fans might moan.

It would also be a back office/Admin/Dav call if it does happen.

I fancy us to get the win and top the group. Then draw Real or Bayern in next round

Banned from entering the UK, that's what happens when you smack your wife around

Looks like crappy streaming for me again

Giroud starts as does Iwobi. Ramsey moves back to replace Elneny and Sanchez goes wide. Walcott misses out. Gibbs in for Monreal

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

Still can't get over Sanchez playing again, I'm assuming the injury that he was carrying isn't nearly as serious as was reported a week or so ago? I know it's an important game in regards topping the group, but I'd have thought it would be a great opportunity to rest him?

I don't know...it's one of those where Wenger is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't tbh. Let's just hope he makes it through the 90.

I don't remember Ramsey-Coquelin being very effective, what is up with Xhaka? Perfect match for him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

Ramsey centre midfield? Man of the match performance coming right up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,161 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

A couple of seriously poor passes at the back already from Koscielny and Coquelin.

Liking Ramsey's influence so far. As a team tho giving the ball away too much
