Hedge Multi Tool?

Ok, looking to purchase a couple of tools just to keep high hedge in control. Getting in tree surgeon to cut it down and then plan to just trim it every so often during the year.

Was looking at the Lidl/Aldi Electric Pole Hedge trimmer. Both same price and spec from what I can see

There seems to be a few of makes on market but look like it might do the job. Some of the other connections might be useful for bits around house

Just wondering are these any good or am I better buying specific tools for each job? I don't expect massive use of them. Couple of times per year at most

Dimensions of hedge?
Will the hedge need 1 or 2 trims a year to keep it tidy?

I would say all in around 125 metre and just the once a year

I've never used an electric pole-trimmer so I can't give an experienced opinion on whether they'd be strong enough to tackle your hedge. If it's not a thick, woody hedge I imagine the lidl brand would be okay: a cousin maintains his lonicera hedge with an electric and he trims about 4 times a year.

I use an electric hedge trimmer (not the pole type) I also have the Ryobi version of the Titan item shown in the attachment. The electric is fine for a light trim to relatively new growth (it's mixed native hedgerow plants I'm cutting). The petrol powered job I use for cutting back into more established wood, and if I need to give it a more radical cut-back, like taking off a foot or two of older wood, I run an electric chainsaw along the top.

Ok checked reviews and the one I linked seems to be a piece of s**t

I think it is the right idea for me but looking for other options?

I found the Ryobi one but only seems to be available in UK and nearly 300 UKP
