The sensible thing to do would be to play the wildcard now....

But I don't want to. But I'm sensible now. But the key part of my plan involves going full scale Mr. P in the last 2/3 months which requires the WC. But I now don't have a defence or an attack.

Probably not sensible to use a WC having placed 0 minutes of thought to the things in over a week, right? So its actually sensible to not play the WC....

I definitely won't play it this week, I can probably cobble together a team with -4. It's just one extra thing I didn't need to worry about.

But mainly that I'm reliant on Amat and that's never a great position to be in :pac:

If things like Costa are happening then it's prudent to wait until the window closes at least.

PVA is tempting though.

I hope they panic and hit the WC button

I was the same
So just got Kane in instead
Had to sell phil Jones to do it though which was grand cos 4.8 was a lot on someone I was not going to use much
Got in Ben mee instead but could change him yet

Mee isn't a bad option. Didn't have to do as much changing as I had thought I would, Aguero and Pedro in for Costa and Lallana.
Think I'm happy with that and if Costa and Conte decide to kiss and make up in a week or two after Costa has dropped .4 or .5, that would be ok as well

Not seeing much at 4.4 apart from Chambers who you already have so I'd probably stick with Pieters for now, tho his fixtures start to get s bit tougher.

My final one hour to deadline wildcard conundrum is Daniels vs Brunt.

Obviously this week Daniels is the better option this week, he will definitely play, and will not be away to Spurs.

However this week is not as consequential because I can play Jones and Phillips as my 2 from 3 with either him or Brunt (obviously one of those would be likely to lose out if I picked Pieters.

Thinking more (but not solely) about next week onwards do I go for the all season great score of Charlie Daniels, who is 3rd highest defender to date or Brunt who has scored well in a shorter period of time, can play OOP and has the admittedly regressing Pulisball.
