Aguero, Kane, Gabbi

0.0 in the bank
Main worries are:
Ake, won't play and prevents me getting another Chelsea player, especially Costa if aguero/Kane gets injured
Holgate/holgate, not guaranteed a place by any means, would rather know at least one would keep their place, but their price enables a better 1st 11
Pugh, is their any better options at this price?

This gives a great team for 37 with Kane/aguero triple captain, but a crap bench boost. Any suggestions? I can swap pugh to Carroll and upgrade ake to a starter, maybe britos or someone?

Surely anybody using WC this week is looking at double Chelsea defence with Cech in goal.

Holding might play one more game this season but that'll be it I'd say. Mustafi, Gabriel, Kosceilny and possibly Monreal ahead of him on the pecking order at CB

Working on wildcard and starting to lose my mind.

Currently looking at

Caballero - Pickford

Blind - Huth - Yoshida - Holgate - Ake

Hazard - Alli - Sane - Coutinho - King

Aguero - Benteke - Gabbiadini

Will be looking to get in Sanchez for his two double gameweeks and to triple captain him in 36 and then bench boost in 37.

Any opinions welcome.

Yeah your probably right. I might go Pugh and ake to Carroll and britos or someone. That way at least I'll have someone to sub in if/when holding doesn't play. His price gives me more money elsewhere.

You still haven't given any reason why? That's a huge chunk of budget to tie up 3 defensive spots. You can get a quite safe Arsenal defender for 4.8.

Chelsea haven't been able to buy a clean sheet and could take the foot further off the gas if the league is won, and will almost certainly rotate in defence for GW38. Not to mention the fact that many will want 2 Chelsea attacking spots.

If your gonna make, and then repeat, sweeping statements perhaps give some insight into your rationale.

Current team, expect it to be completely different by Friday. Main fault is no City attack but I think Pep will rotate everyone bar Aguero perhaps and he's far too expensive. Might be tempted by Jesus if he starts tomorrow.

Jesus possibly going up in price tonight. I don't see him in my wildcard team but brought him in incase he were to start and do very well. Kane nowhere near a rise so jesus in for benteke is an easy transfer. Same thinking with eriksen.

Arsenal have back to back doubles and I don't think any of their defenders are safe let alone the 4.8 option. They are all at risk of rotation (and let's face it,they are all a tad injury prone too) due to fixtures and formation. Cech is safe. Arsenal are trying. He is a better option than Forster for a slightly higher price. If you fancy one of their defence then I think he is the safest option.

Chelsea are trying to close out the league. Three of their remaining four fixtures are at home. Middlesbrough, Watford, West Brom and Sunderland. Doesn't scream goals does it ? Most will already have one. I think two is worth it.

My transfers this week will be - DDG & Valencia to Cech & Luiz.

I've had an absolute nightmare with my captain choice for about 5-6 weeks straight. Still sitting at 10k going into this week. What could have been. I think these two guys will help me finish inside the top 10k.

And it was hardly a sweeping statement. I just see it as a really safe option.

Only 2 non dgw players are Holgate and Carroll but both have nice fixtures.
I'm not sure on going without aguero.
I'm not sure on jesus or sane
And I'm def not sure on Alonso but I've had him a long time so only getting 6.4 back. Not sure who if anyone is worth similar, vertonghen at 5.7? Vertonghen would allow me Ndidi for Carroll.
A lot of these will depend on how today's matches go of course but happy enough with that for first real attempt since WC activated.

I was initially thinking of getting in Hazard for either Sane or Alli, but now contemplating leaving it as above and then upgrading Gabi to Costa for the DGW37 BB.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Edit- Just realised I even have enough for King to Hazard, hmmmm

Cech and Forster is a lot of money to tie up when you can only play both of them for one week imo (presume you will have BB?). I personally would downgrade Forster and use it to upgrade Capoue to say Albrighton, or Holebas for Yoshida maybe?

well he doesn't have a double, though Hull are still fighting for something so that's a plus. I think there is better value at that price point - Albrighton, Ward Prowse maybe with the 2 doubles, or another option is to downgrade him completely to somebody like Tom Carroll and upgrade elsewhere.

Question is the value of keeping Aguero (Jesus) and bringing in Sanchez or strengthing midfield & strikers. Also are they all GTD to start both in W37 (Gabriel/Pedro/Rashford?)

With Rose due back I am not sure Bavies is a great WC option, perhaps Trippier is better?

Something doesn't feel right about having 3 Southampton players in my draft, especially with the talk of unrest in the camp, anyone else worried about Southampton players being a huge let down. Can't shake the feeling i should avoid Gabbi, he may even be dropped after last weekend.

Agreed. I feel very uneasy loading up on South and Arse players, especially with their form and squad unrest.

I have Yoshida, Stephens, Gabriel & sanchez in my wildcard team. Unlikely to get anymore. Was looking at ozil but he's taking money from defence.
