Mount Brandon hike - from Dingle?

Hi,

We've climbed Mount Brandon many times starting and ending in Cloghane, but we've heard it can be climbed from the Dingle side.

Does anyone have any info on this route? Where it starts/ends and how long it takes etc

You can get up this side in less than 1 hour. There are a series of numbered crosses on the way (1 to 14) and the path is fairly well-defined all the way up.

Less than an hour to the peak? So it's much shorter than the route from Cloghane so?

Yes, Cloghane starts from sea-level as well. You're up a fair bit by the time you reach the car-park. So are there any routes from the town of Dingle? I know it would be a long route.

Don't know I'm afraid but it's 12km as the crow flies so that would probably be closer to 20km walk
