22-08-2016 12:33pmHi RS,
looking to pick your brain. Going to be doing a PJ install for a friends son. Attice room with some restriction in relation to screen width due to the profile of the roof within the attic space. The wall will take a screen that's 6' MAX. Distance from screen to PJ ceiling mounting point is approx 12'. Looking for screen & PJ recommendations. Will be using it just for basic stuff (laptop as a source via HDMI) and probably an android box as another input. so ne need for high end equipment.
Much appreciated.

unfortunately, 6' is the max allowable width of the screen. I know its not ideal, but a wider (77")would mean mounting it lower on the wall which we want to avoid.
Would this projector be up to the task ?

The 77 inch and 92 inch are the diagonal measurements of the screens.
The 92 inch screen comes in at 87.5 inches in width however this also adds in the outer casing the screen rolls up into.
The 77 inch would be smaller than 87". I think around 67-68 inch.
http://www.sapphireav.com/Sapphire-Aluminum-Slow-Retraction-Manual-Screen-1704mm-x-958mm-with-channel-fix-brackets_p_119.html
The 77" would be the smallest size of screen that we stock.
The H183X projector would suit but unfortunately it is an in-store only collection and would need collected from the Belfast store as we are unable to ship.
Not sure how close you are to the store but you are more than welcome to call for the H183X0 -

If you let me know which projector you are leaning towards and I can check the throw distances for them.
We are less than 12ft from our screen for the 92" image here at the store.
If its the H183X it looks like a 8.3ft for a 72" screen.

Unfortunately this one is an in-store only unit, so we wouldn't be able to ship it down to you I'm afraid. We do have it in stock, so we could hold it for you if you were to come up to collect?
