UCD English (Joint) First Year Reading List

    Does anyone have any idea what's on the reading list for first years?

    Or what was on last year?

    I know there will be differences depending on modules, but I thought I'd ask anyway in case there are core modules/texts for all.

    The Riverside Chaucer has been on the list for a few years, as has English Literature in Context by Poplawski (but this year it seems that is suggested as further reading). Looks like Shakespeare is on too. You can look at the list here but just make sure it is for your year. Nothing up for Lit. Genre but I think there was just one book for it when I was doing it
