    Hey all,

Bit of a long shot but does anyone know of a place to rent metal detectors in Galway? My wedding ring has been misplaced in some grass outside the house and I can't find it. Been on my hands and knees ripping through the grass and no joy. The only hope at this stage is a metal detector I'd imagine. I don't fancy having to buy one for a one time only (hopefully) use. Any ideas guys?

There is a thread somewhere here from a year or more ago where similar happened. I think one of the posters had one that he loaned.
The mods might be able to find the thread if a search doesn't help.

There seems to be a somewhat active metal detecting Galway facebook page.

Maybe post something there and someone might be able to help.

Would you believe I saw that and stupid me just assumed it was in Laois.

Cheers guys for the help. I'll try the hire crowd and I'll try the Facebook page too.

LaoisHire had one available and it was only 20 euro for the day. A great deal even more so because I FOUND IT!! So delighted. Fair play Discodog for recommending the place. Saves me a fortune. Thanks again all!

Relieved only partially expresses how I feel. Just buzzing over it.

    Definitely! Little Google Discodog.
