Why are you calling him a politician? I assumed half of his appeal was based on the fact that he wasn't one.

Also I don't know why you begin by saying "It is media bias against Trump" - what exactly is the media bias? Are the analyses, projections, limitations, circumventions, problems etc. etc. with building a border wall - and thus the reporting on them - a media bias against Trump? How is that? Right now the argument sounds like this:

    Everyone: "Water is wet"
    Trump: "No it isn't"
    Media: "Yes it is"
    Supporters: "BIAS!"

The bias media place an enormous amount of scrutiny on Trump in order to discredit him. It was Bush that was elected to keep America safe again and he got distracted. The media have an interest in getting Clinton elected. Trump on the other hand is seen in great esteem by all those that attend his speeches. A leader knows how to get a message out to the public.

When you say "enormous amount of scrutiny" I just remember the time Bernie Sanders was speaking in front of 10,000 people and instead of showing that, CNN broadcast a live feed of an empty podium from a Trump rally. Oh, so did FOX and MSNBC. Oh and they did it to Clinton too!

    http://www.politicususa.com/2016/05/26/msnbc-cnn-fox-news-ignore-hillary-clinton-speech-show-trumps-empty-podium.html

    http://fair.org/home/cable-news-covers-everyones-speech-but-sanders-who-made-the-mistake-of-discussing-policy/

So unless you have specific evidence of this supposed bias to bring forward all your doing is talking in vague, sweeping generalities, Truthiness, and your opinions. Your going to have to up your game here if you plan to convince me put it that way.

As for his leadership credentials, that would be pretty sad given how often he has flip flopped just in the last 12 months alone, much less the last few years.

How dare they scrutinize him. Who do they think they are...

    Is this evidence for something?

I'm sorry, but I cannot watch him talk without thinking that this guy is an utter moron. He talked for 8 minutes and while the link doesn't show anything the Mexican Prime Minister has to say, it looks a lot like he's wetting himself with laughter

Has Trump committed to helping Mexico to secure their borders with other central and south american countries? What are the implications of this?

Who is going to pay for the wall? It looks like 'mexico will pay' has been dropped.

Escalation of the drug war... cause that worked for decades..

'improve nafta'. The guy is an utter moron. He started talking about china. China is not a part of NAFTA, it looks like he's been convinced into expanding NAFTA. Despite everything he's said about NAFTA stealing american jobs

One meeting with a head of state and he's been bamboozled into totally changing his mind on all of his key platforms.

He's too stupid to be president. He'd probably give the nuclear launch codes to any head of state that compliments him on his lovely hair and normal sized hands

The TV shows in America from these hack "comedians" is so cringe worthy with them sucking the balls of the producers by attacking Trump. I guess they have to keep themselves in work and follow the liberal line.

For some reason, HLN (owned by CNN) thought it was a good idea to blur out a man's pro-Trump t-shirt. http://www.breitbart.com/video/2016/08/31/watch-hln-blurs-out-trump-on-mans-t-shirt-who-saved-baby-from-hot-car/

I figured this would be relevant to this thread.

During the early campaign the media was blasting Trump because of his apparent bad hair style. Imagine if a bald man ran for President. In terms of getting real on policy the media are way behind on that one. They ignore all the important issues brought to the attention of the American public by Trump.

I guess they didn't want to convey they idea that Trump supporters are baby savers, just that human beings are human beings. Still odd though.

You know every candidate gets poked fun of right? Especially sanders hair, talk about having rose tinted hindsight look at ya. Here is sanders in response to a WaPo "journalist" that wanted to talk about Hillarys own hair

Do you have any actual evidence of bias? That's a rhetorical question mind you since it didn't happen, but I'd like to see what you have

You just quoted Akrasia's post in full and yet decided to talk about Trump's hair which was not even mentioned in the post

Not once did you attempt to address any of his points. :(

Ditch the crude language please. It's not welcome here.

Akrasia has already dismissed Trump and everything he says. I am highlighting how the media up to now has been focused on lampooning Trump.

Akrasia is doing what the mainstream media is doing. Considering him a nutjob. Nothing to see here.

Such people wait until a disaster happens before they listen. When it does they are quick to find a scapegoat.

So why quote them? You can post without quoting you know.

All you're doing is making a confusing post that makes you look as though you don't understand the issue you seem to be addressing.

Enough B"""""s he does not come under the same level of hate that Trump has come under or even Obama did.

Trump has been exposed to a virulent media attention. The same excuses of he is courting this controversy are thrown out time and time again.

Who benefits from the smears in the public domain, Hillary does. Who loses, not Trump he still has his wealth and career, but America does.

I quote because I am interacting with the person who made the remark, just because I am not taking in every word he says or agree with the nonsense the person spouts does not prevent me from continuing the discussion.

If you don't address their post, you're not discussing anything. You wouldn't have a converstaion like that. At least not a coherent one.

You've addressed more of his post iin your replies to me than you did with him.

Trump's hair style has been a running joke for decades. It would be media bias if they suddenly stopped mentioning it. (and by media, it's the comedians and panel shows who mention his hair, it's not the front story on the main evening news)

You're right, he has no right to expect criticism for calling immigrants rapists.

Its a wonder why Bernie Sanders didn't get the same amount of negative attention. Oh, right: it's because he didn't pander to the controversy.

Sorry but your whole argument crumbles without special goalposts. It's a bit like telling someone they have no way to boil a potato - the same excuse of having to use water is thrown out time and again!

I'm giving my opinion of the video that was posted. I cannot watch Trump without automatically thinking that he is an idiot.

Its not bias, it's the way he comes across. If I had never heard of him before and saw him deliver this speech in that way, I would think he was someone with an intellectual disability.

He speaks like an idiot, he has the vocabulary of a child, he panders his words to whoever he thinks is listening to him, and this is why he is capable of giving two completely different speeches within hours of each other, because he keeps forgetting that everything he does is watched, so he can't play two sides off against each other like he usually likes to do.

I honestly can't see how an intelligent person who is actively engaged in the debate would not recognise this.

How much wealth does he have?

He says he has wealth, but he refuses to release his tax records to show his net worth.

Also, he is being really petty with his cash in ways that are borderline illegal. Funneling donated election funds into his own private businesses at inflated prices... If he was worth 10 billion dollars, he would hardly care about a few tens of thousands of dollars that he makes by renting election resources to himself at inflated prices using fundraised election funds

Campaign donations have been a heated topic of discussion in this election. This harks back to the Citizen United ruling which allowed an unprecedented indulgence of political spending by all parties. Hillary herself has received substantial sums from outside backers in this campaign.

No! She received it from the Foundation and that organization has donations from around the world.
