Said I'd make the thread because be more chance of it being seen instead of the random waffle thread. Does anyone know what the story is regarding parking on Cruises St?

Gotta drop my dad to Specsavers Tuesday morning and his breathing ain't the best and doesn't be able to walk far so would be a lot handier if could drop him at the front door.

You won't be able to park on cruises street but there is a car park right behind cruises street which is very convenient

Can you not drive up Cruises St before a certain time?

You'd be probably better off going to Specsavers out in the crescent

Is it not about the same walking distance from the car park on Denmark St to Specsavers on Cruises Street than from the car park at the Crescent to the Specsavers inside.

You can't really though. It's pretty much just for G4S vans and deliveries.

Of course you can. You can drive any vehicle up Cruises st. It's clearly marked on the approach signs.....it's open to all traffic between the hours of 6am and 11am.
The Op can drop (and come back to collect) his Father as long as it's all done prior to 11am.
